Thank You, Mr. Musharraf

General (Retired) Pervaiz Musharraf
General (Retired) Pervaiz Musharraf has resigned from his post as the President of Pakistan. I believe, Mr. Musharraf was a powerful person to control the people of the country and and its Economy.

I would like to thank Mr. Musharraf for his time and dedication to this country.

He is a great man, and a led the nation through tough times. Truly the best thing that ever happened to Pakistan since our independence, and the greatest Pakistani - second only to the Quaid-e-Azam himself.

Thank you for everything you have done, Mr Musharraf! It’s a shame we couldn’t appreciate your dedication properly enough.

The nation’s prayers are with you. I can only hope we are able to recover from the disasters about to fall Pakistan. May God give you, and us all strength to cope with this.

    Musharraf zindabad! Pakistan zindabad!

Must have been tough for him to make this decision, as everyone had turned against him. The majority of the leaders (who of course are selected by the illiterate population with no sense of the right or wrong), the judiciary (which seems to enjoy protesting more then anything) the islamists + taliban (of course they would want to remove someone would stop them turning Pakistan into Afghanistan. But another question is why are the taliban content with zardari and nawaz?)

A very very sad day for Pakistan. I cannot see in what direction we are heading right now, when all the leaders are busy plundering and looting the country.

Makes me sad to see those sincere to Pakistan lose, those who want to destroy it win.

    May God bless this country.

One of the other problem is that all stakeholders in Pakistan are always looking for short-term growth.

People are very happy over the increment in value of rupee and the improvement in stock exchange index but they have no idea how much “looting” will be started by coalition government when there’s no one to moderate them.

Yup, I’d also like to thank Mr. President. President Musharraf has really done a great deal of stuff that nobody else could’ve done.
He made Pakistan stronger. Although he made a few mistakes, but I really appreciate his efforts to make Pakistan a country with a good image in the international community.
I wish he’d stayed. Just like Asad said, the ‘loot-maar’ and ‘bandar-baant’ thats gonna beging now is gonna colossal :(
All my best wishes to President Musharraf
